Aly and I met in high school and have been inseparable for over 40 years. We married right after graduation, started a family, and built a life together. Today, we’re proud parents of a 38-year-old daughter and delighted grandparents to a beautiful 14-year-old granddaughter.

From the very beginning, we both knew we wanted something more than a vanilla sexual life. For years, we kept our desires tucked away in whispered fantasies and late-night pillow talk while raising our daughter. But once she was grown and out on her own, we decided it was finally time to bring those fantasies to life.

We won’t give away all the delicious details just yet (you’ll have to wait for our autobiography 😉), but here’s a little tease of how our journey began. In our late 30s, we started dipping our toes into uncharted waters—testing boundaries with some playful flirting alongside close friends who were just as curious as we were. The intoxicating back-and-forth of glances, teasing words, and lingering touches built a tension we couldn’t ignore. That slow burn of seduction eventually led us into what’s known as “soft swapping” (see our Lifestyle Terms & Information section if you’d like a little glossary of Lifestyle terms).

At that stage, we didn’t see ourselves as “swingers.” We were simply letting our fantasies slip into reality—experimenting, savoring the thrill, and delighting in the delicious new territory we were exploring together.

Eventually, curiosity nudged us further. We visited Colette’s, a Lifestyle club in Dallas, and for the first time we saw ourselves as part of “the Lifestyle.” After almost a year of weekly visits, we finally met a couple we trusted enough to take the leap into full swapping. We were nervous, but that night became a turning point—an exhilarating moment where we knew our love and trust were strong enough to explore freely together.

We discovered that watching each other with others wasn’t just tolerable—it was wildly arousing. Since then, our adventures have only deepened our bond. What started in 2017 has grown into a journey full of discovery, passion, and incredible connections.
